Letter meme

I gave rachg82 the letter Y for this meme. Being a much kinder person she gave me the letter C. For some reason I kept coming up with things on D when doing this. Curious :)

Something I hate
Cheesecake. Can't stand it. I scrape the topping off carrot cake and stay away from cupcakes too for the same reson. Cream cheese on a bagel is nice though.

Oh, my God, I can't imagine not loving cheesecake. It's like you live in an alternate universe from me now or something.

Just imagine what it's like for me, being surrounded by all these people who for some unfathomable reason love cheesecake ;)

Hello!

Cheese = yummy.

Speaking of Copenhagen, if you ever need a TV show rec, please try a Danish show called Borgen. Three seasons total, and the the first two are FANTASTIC. My DH and I finished watching it several weeks ago.

Hi!

LJ tells me it's your birthday today :) Best wishes on your day, Birthday Girl!

I've heard of Borgen but have not watched it. Will definitely add it to my list of shows to try. I've watched another Danish show that I really like, The Legacy (Arvingerne). Brilliant acting, the actors become real people, not actors reading lines.

Love your icon. :) That green is so pretty.

Thank you! I'm thrilled to have made it to 38; it's more than some people get.

I will add The Legacy to my ever-expanding list. Thank you for the rec. As for Borgen, it's a wonderful political drama, and I can't rec it highly enough.

I've always had the sense that you live somewhere in Europe. Am I wrong? (Feel free to not answer if I'm being nosy, of course.)

Green is my favorite color :) (in close competition with red)

How refreshing with someone who treasures the gift of life rather than obsessing about getting older!

An ever expanding list of TV-shows to watch is very familiar to me. It's nowhere near my list of books to read but I kind of enjoy having this luxury 'dilemma'. Lately I've prioritized reading but one of my TV memories from this summer will be Manhattan about the Manhattan Project.

Yes I'm in Europe, but sadly not in Denmark with it's brilliant TV drama and Danish pastries.
