House settled Jeannie in his office with her snack and collared Cameron to keep an eye on her. Not that Cameron minded--after all, Jeannie was little and cute. Perfect for Cameron.

It looked like Stephen was gone when House got down to Wilson's room, which House appreciated. He'd have less explaining to do.

"Hantavirus," he announced.

Wilson stared. It made sense, of course, but... "How did I manage to get hantavirus?" he wondered aloud, partially to himself.

"You were on the West Coast for that thing the portal did," House pointed out. "More common there."

"Right," Wilson replied, shaking his head. Thanks a lot, portal. "Well, at least you figured it out." He was more relieved than he was going to let on.
