Further Up and Further In

One of the last chapeters in the The last book of the Chronicles of Narnia (book called...the Last Battle) has a very powerful chapter heading..."Further Up and Further In."

The heroes get to the outskirts of Aslan's Country and are thrilled to be where Alsan is...but, he leaves them and leads them onward with the words "further up and further in."

Then they start running...and running...and running. The whole time chasing Aslan and drawing closer to him.

Sometimes they want to stop and rest, but there is something inside of them calling, beckoning them to keep running!

Sarah...what you are feeling is normal and even good. We are not supposed to stay where we are. We are told to "taste and See that the Lord is good"...but, we are never supposed to stop there. Keep eating. Keep running.

Where? Further up and Further In.
