1 least quality icon:
4 - The cap doesn't look like it has been lightened enough, as the icon is still very dark. Also, the text is very sharp (but the font is nice!) and as the text seems to be the focal point, my eyes go straight to it and how over-sharp it is.

#4 - Good crop and the smoke looks very well defined, but the background is so dark that the cross is almost invisible. In combination with the lettering that covers Spike's left arm, this makes it look like he has no arms at all.

#2- This was a tough one, but in the end this icon stands out the most with its great crop and striking colours.

#1 - the stark contrast makes Spike look a little overexposed - his hair kind of blends into his forehead. There are a few sharpening artifacts on him, caused by that same high contrast. The icon looks a little uneven because of that. I like the primary colors you used, and the composition is interesting, too.
