On Sunday our family went downtown to see the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. They played Shostakovich and Ravel. The conductor (who reminded me somehow of Mr. Bean) and the lead violinist (an impassioned Italian lady) were very expressive and it was a lot of fun to watch. Now I feel more cultured in the arts.
