My room is warm and smells like orange-flavoured tea. A recently-acquired Dave Brubeck CD is playing in the background (thanks, Adrienne). I am wearing a beautiful jewel-toned scarf I just bought to benefit an orphanage in Nairobi. I feel pretty and mellow and I will be seeing friends tonight
