OK so just an quick addition in response to my cell bio lab with the fantastic French prof. Class was hilarious! Luckily I wasn't the only one laughing this time. During class today we got lab partners (dun dun DUN!)I was kinda torn in who I wanted to work with. I'm coming to realize that Will is kinda unbalanced and I knew I would have a hard time working with him (he would take over everything, that's just the kind of person he is). So, I had to look around for other partners. There is this other guy, kinda shy, kinda cute, you know the type *grin* so we were down to like half the class unpartnered and he leans over and asks if I want to be his partner (HELL YES!) So all of a sudden I am Dan's partner. He also TAs the same lab as I do so we have that in common but other than that I had no idea who he was. In lab, we found that we have very similar styles of humor and we couldn't stop laughing. It was refreshing and I was *GASP* not awkward ( ... )

interesting.... so, he told you to break the pipettes, but then laughed at you when you actually did it? i'm not sure i could follow the story entirely, but i laughed out loud when i got to the part where you said "is there blood?" hilarious.

well, yay for getting a good lab partner - that's something i didn't love about the sciences, because if you have to work with someone all semester or all year long, it had better be a good partnership! and i'm glad that you continue to feel validated about your decision to do this program as a step along the way to med school.
