Well, so I have some time to burn before class and I thought I would post about my very first teaching experience. Brace yourselves

OK so just an quick addition in response to my cell bio lab with the fantastic French prof. Class was hilarious! Luckily I wasn't the only one laughing this time. During class today we got lab partners (dun dun DUN!)I was kinda torn in who I wanted to work with. I'm coming to realize that Will is kinda unbalanced and I knew I would have a hard time working with him (he would take over everything, that's just the kind of person he is). So, I had to look around for other partners. There is this other guy, kinda shy, kinda cute, you know the type *grin* so we were down to like half the class unpartnered and he leans over and asks if I want to be his partner (HELL YES!) So all of a sudden I am Dan's partner. He also TAs the same lab as I do so we have that in common but other than that I had no idea who he was. In lab, we found that we have very similar styles of humor and we couldn't stop laughing. It was refreshing and I was *GASP* not awkward

interesting.... so, he told you to break the pipettes, but then laughed at you when you actually did it? i'm not sure i could follow the story entirely, but i laughed out loud when i got to the part where you said "is there blood?" hilarious.

well, yay for getting a good lab partner - that's something i didn't love about the sciences, because if you have to work with someone all semester or all year long, it had better be a good partnership! and i'm glad that you continue to feel validated about your decision to do this program as a step along the way to med school.
