i cannot find the words to express how much i absolutely adore this verse. i mean, just wanna roll around in it and guh! so awesome. :DDD
this part was brilliant. it was hilarious at the beginning, got me a little teary-eyed in the middle and made me smile like a goof by the end. :) god, i absolutely love the way you write these two.
I may have mentioned it before (probably; I've been making a point of commenting on all the Inception stories I really enjoy (<-- attempts to assuage remnants of "lurker's guilt" from my previous fandom, wut), so it's been challenging to keep track), BUT you have a beautiful way with words here.
The scenes all fit together so well, and the dialogue, and the imagery of this piece were lovely as well. Wonderful, wonderful job. :D
(One thing that threw me off: the time stamp of the very last scene. Should it have been three years and two months ago? It was supposed to have taken place after Mal's wedding, and after Eames officially asked, wasn't it?)
(Also thanks for noticing that numbering error! It's fixed now. I had originally all numbered them five and then I decided to change the date to fit the timeline better. I must have missed that one)
I think the timings still a bit off, if they've been married for nearly five years, that would mean all of this actually happens AFTER they're married.
Still, I completely ADORE this verse and Eames in love is just adorable and I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face ^_^ TOO CUTE <3
“May they always remember what is real. That love between you - nothing will ever taste as sweet.” I literally held my breath at this. Such a lovely line and yet, knowing what actually happens to Mal and Cobb, so bittersweet.
This whole 'verse is one of my absolute favorites. You write so beautifully. I want to gush and gush every single detail but that would be tiresome for you so let me just offer you an airline, cos it's neater.
It's 2 AM here and I'm going to go to bed happy. :D

In fact, it is quite possibly going to be filed under my bookmarks as "comfort fic" :)
