You are right that when they were chasing nazi's it was good. I have great memories of those old Indiana movies. Infact in "Indiana Jones and the temple of doom" the villain is a top bollywood actor named amrish puri whom I admired.
Kate blanchet fits tough roles very well eg. the Howard Hughes (aviator's) girl.
