I think that the war in Iraq is a bigger and more pressing problem than abortion, but you would not know that from questions both candidates are asked. Maybe there will be restrictions on what a pregnant woman can eat. Amazing to me how quickly people surrender their choices.

That's a connection I don't think I would have ever made... very interesting! I've always thought that the terms "pro-life" and "pro-choice" are terrible generalizations. A politician like McCain is "pro-life", which translates to anti-abortion... but when it comes to supporting the execution of criminals or sending kids into unjust wars, there's no "pro-life" about it!

When does life begin is the question they always ask. I'd like to hear them answer the question: "When does life end?"

It's a strange turn of events that the political conservatives who supposedly believe in smaller government also believe in restricting personal rights.

Dear Joshua,

Welcome to the blog. I could see your passion through your words. "When does life end?" will be an absolute wonderful question for any warmonger Republican who talks about less goverment and on the other hand wants to restrict an individual's freedom through goverment.:-)
