I can't decide what to do next. I feel like the dark areas need more, but I can't decide if I want to tone them down more to show less business or add a hint of pale orange to pop them a little more. Any thoughts?
In the top painting I think adding more orange to the dark areas, or something at least, to make them pop will add more balance to your piece. Your oranges are so bright vibrant and amazing! But needs something to balance it in the rest of the composition.
I could see prussian blue used in the dark spots and maybe even van dyke brown. The orange glows, I think it would be neat for the shadows to really fall away.
I don't know what to say most of the time when asked for feedback online. I worked on it yesterday and think it is almost finished. I just have to let it sink in and study it for awhile.

I'm glad to see you working large. It makes you think about the space differently and challenges you in new and unexpected ways. I love seeing the photos in progression. These look beautiful, and I really like them together.

I actually picked up probably 8 more long panels, some of them 8'. I am debating making a privacy screen from three of them. And here I thought this a one time chance to get big in this medium.

But, just to be safe, listen to your own instinct.
