Starting a new piece. I didn't plan this in the same way I usually do which was refreshing. I was just playing with some feathers and came up with a basic idea. The green coming from behind it is crepe paper which I use quite frequently to assess color. The orange stripe is from my easel.

I did feel somewhat freed by the process of not having a full plan ahead of time. It was almost like the feathers were just staring in a show and I have yet to see the final performance. I will certainly show you the end when it comes.

I'm not sure how to blog. Isn't this blog just for artists? I just finished making granola. Does that count as art?

Folks, that proves that I have a granola making mom. I'd say that is art.

There are blogs about EVERYTHING! You could start one documenting your genealogy trials and successes.
