Still on dog watch

May 06, 2014 17:08

Sue was at a show Monday as well but took most of her dogs with her, it was obedience this time. I was left with my two and Katy, Kandi's little girl, and Alice the merle Shelti she inherited from her friend and co owner of Alice. Four is much easier to deal with that 9 ( Read more... )

Ramsey and I'm here until a week today but the only day I,have spare, either dog watching or out with Sue is Sunday when Sue has nothing to do so I would be free to do as I please.
If you think 9 is bad 10 is worse, 7 of Sue's, 2 of mine and Thorn over night. Monday when we go to Hunstanton we will be 11 as Thorn and his elderly companion William will be coming with us just for a nice day out.. It won't be too bad as once we get them on the beach and past what few holiday makers, we hope, will be there the beach is so vast they can just run free along the sea and in and out of it too.

Ah ok. I don't have a car but I could get myself to Ely by train (and you can bring your two and we could give them a walk)

I would love to meet up but without the dogs. Apart from the possible effects their proximity might have on you Kandi is a very nervous highly strung individual who dose not like strange places towns especially we would not enjoy the walk, and if I brought, Saffron and left Kandi If you can suggest a quiet place to walk I would risk it, if not how about a meetup for a coffee and a walk around our selves. I have been to Ely several times with Sue but have never been into the cathedral to use a 'Christian' adjective Sue is a born again atheist and won't go in. I would love to go in and have a look. As you know I can drive and can be at the railway station any time you say just let me know %)

If you drive to Norwich, I recommend using one of the park and ride schemes on the outskirts of the city. Drop down to Newmarket and take the A11, which is good driving. You'll find the Thickthorn Park and Ride easily as you get close to Norwich. The buses into Norwich from there are frequent - every few minutes - and the bus station is closer to the heart of the city, around the market, than the railway station. Norwich is not a driver-friendly city, so using the park and ride is much easier than trying to find a car park in the city centre, and possibly cheaper.

Thanks for the advice, I think Sue now has something else planned for us this time but next time I will try that.

Ah, on duty again, eh?:-)
I can´t imagine myself with more than one Badík:-) but you are the natural and very experienced too.
About trains and prices - the same here.

I liked your description of the zoo and I look forward to seeing you picures.I adore donkeys - they are so cute ( but I know that they are mostly very difficult animals).
Good luck with dog-sitting and give a pet to your lovely girls, please.

I will tell them you sent the first cuddle I give them after I finish on the computer. Saffron is being very clingy atm. I think that is because I am sleeping in a single bed here and she cannot join me as she does in my double bed at home. As soon as I move into the living room she is there with me demanding to be lifted on to the settee and she glues herself to my leg. Kandi lies on the floor in front of the settee and the only dogs she will allow to com near me are Katy, her daughter and So So who is her half brother and still only a baby, 18 months old. They have the same mother but different fathers so technically Saffron is not related but she treats him like she does Katy, one of the family.

Good! I can see your safety is inpenetrable:-)
Badík at his old age (11) would jump to my bed immediately though He has always been an "outside" dog. He is extremely cuddly now and he knows he is my darling:-)
