The first week in June was positively March like in my part of the UK but Flaming June made it's appearance the second week and it's still here. It gets very hot very early so the girls and I have taken to going walkies in the cool of the evening, somewhere where there is shade and streams. Only Saffron's paws and they weren't too bad, Kandi went in to the river deep enough for the current to get the majority of the muck off and by the time we get back home the heat in the car even with the air con on was enough to dry her, the blankets they lie on had to be changed but the rest of the mud brushed off. A dry shampoo I have took care of the minor lingering smell.
