Well the coats haven't been used much this year as when the weather was good it was superb. The summer raincoats however have been well used, two weeks of almost solid rain in August!!!!!.

I never plant anything in my garden that will not survive our comparatively mild winters so that is one job I don't have to do.

Ahh we have enough rain in the UK in most summers not to need a hose, I have a watering can for window boxes and pots , that lives in the garden. And I don't have anything that needs pruning than goodness.

We have ahd an Indian summer this year, When I was on holiday in Pembrokeshire last week Sue I and the dogs had 5 out of 7 of the days with unbroken sunshines and the 2 days we had clouds it was only at change of tide and cleared quickly. It isn't so sunny this week but just as warm.

Good!
They promise several nice days here next week, I wonder! At least it is not very cold...but then there are showers all day long.:-(
Ah Pembrokeshire!!! What a wonderful countryside! I was there several years ago as tourist, we climbed the cliffs and walked on the seaside...A Paraside for the dogs, I suppose!

Newport beach certainly is. This was taken 2 years ago at a lowish tide, it can be and was a lot lower.
