You need to teach me your photography skills. You always take the best photos!

I'll have to take you to Joanne Fabrics when you come. There's a LOT of craft stuff, not just fabrics. I think you'll be in heaven.

Music classes in school were always great. DON'T CUT THE ARTS. /Rant

I loved Art History! Actually, I never really appreciated art galleries until I took Art History. I don't think I really understood what I was supposed to be looking for, if that makes sense? I'd go to art galleries and be like "this is a painting. Okay. Who cares?" I don't think you have to have taken art history to get that, but apparently I did. :P

Aw, thanks! i took a photography course last year which really helped. The trick is mostly keeping an eye out on interesting views.

Heh, I've heard a lot about Joanne's online. It does sound like heaven!

And yeah, DON'T CUT THE ARTS. Art is so important! And it totally makes sense that you didn't really 'get' art until you understood the context and what to look for. Kind of like how I needed my music class to finally start to appreciate jazz. Before, it was all just a bunch of noise to me, until I understood the history and the influences and the different styles of jazz. I'm still not a huuuuuge fan. :p But I get it now.
Also why having religion and history classes helped a lot in appreciating art, because I get the references!

This is an interesting AskReddit thread about art btw! https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/bwe6zi/people_who_get_modern_art_and_art_galleries_what/ Was eyeopening to me, too.
