Space Shuttle

I'm disappointed that Seattle didn't get one of the space shuttles. Aside from population and politics, I'm not sure why New York got one.

Remember Mort Sahl's line about Lyndon Johnson locating the Manned Space Flight Center in Houston because NASA did a study that found that the moon was closer to Texas than Florida? Obviously, the head of NASA found that New York was closer to orbit than Seattle...

No, New York is closer to a large population who will pay to view the shuttle. But the East Coast got THREE shuttles, the West Coast got one, and the Midwest got shafted.
