Thank you! He does have a belt-like white stripe on his back. Orion is a hunter so the name is a strong one.

Excellent. I knew he'd let you know once he'd decided you were his. Do you know that there's a very obscure law on the books, that people cannot own cats? Cats select their owners, not the other way around and when a cat picks you, it's game over, even if someone else purchased or otherwise got it.

I absolutely believe that! Orion slept with me last night-first time! I took him to the vet and he's now taking medicine for inflammation. It should help his limping.

Now if I could only get him to use one of the 6 scratching posts, that would be something.

Just so you see what I had to deal with, they never told my niece about his elbow being broken. Isn't that par for them?

I have him on liquid Meloxicam for inflammation. It just so happens that I take Meloxicam for arthritis.
