Since so many of us are a bit disgruntled with the lack of lj participation lately... how about if we all do a short introduction?
I'll start. Just about everyone on my list is pretty open-minded...
People who post relatively often, who I think wouldn't mind having a few more lj friends:

Will you repost this to your lj?

I actually wasn't expecting to get friends out of this... I just saw literally 3 people on my friends list talk about how dead lj is, and how they want new friends. This is just a bonus for me!! :D

I'm a 30 y/o environmental scientist and single mother of three boys living in the southeastern U.S. I post fairly often (averaging 1.222221 times a day), and my content is pretty random. You may find a) witty observations on life, b) my newest viral musical obsession, c) an entry about sorting socks, d) an in-depth dissection of American Southern Baptist politics, e) a stressed out mom on the verge of shipping all 3 children to Africa, or f) aliens that disregard their plans for human annihilation when they fall in love with bluegrass music (hopefully a fictional account).
If any of these things interest you, please feel free to skip over to my journal and check me out. I don't bite...hard.

I will do an intro post later...
I typically post about what my hubby and I do, how I feel about the things that go on in my life... the good changes I'm making... jewelry/beads... an organization I volunteer with a lot... life in general... sometimes photos (jewelry photos, people photos, kitty/doggie photos)... I'm fairly open in my lj - ask me a question and I'll answer it. What you see is what you get.
I'm also a very positive person and very proactive about making my life continuously better. Sometimes it takes me a little while to process something, but I aim to learn something from everything that happens.

I'm an artist/jewelry designer in her 30s who just moved to Pasadena, CA and is looking for new people to talk to (and advice on the area, if anyone has it!) :)

I like your jewelry. Very, very different from what I design, but really cool! I dig the look of steampunk, which seems to be very in right now, but I don't think I could pull it off (wearing or designing it, that is).

Thanks! Steampunk isn't for everyone, yeah. I dabble in all kinds of designs; I can't seem to settle on just one. That's how I ended up with multiple stores.
