Food is such a wonderful thing - it showcases our cultural identities and is a thing to be shared among friends. I totally admire you for making pinoy food - I've yet to attempt to make anything other than adobo =v=

Food is how I've been getting in touch with my cultural identities! My mom is definitely more Americanized now and doesn't make traditional food... hardly ever anymore. She's on a health food kick :P So when I'm feeling homesick or nolstagic, I tend to play around in the kitchen and gravitate to all the foods I ate as a kid. I mean, where else am I going to find it? :/
