Identity theft and credit card fraud is rampant.   It is suggested that you check your credit report every year.  Unfortunately, there are plenty of businesses out there what CLAIM a free credit report, but it's not really free (like www.freecreditreport.com with their lame-o three man band)    Here is a link to the only site that the government
