myspace - ur doin it wrong

I just put myself on MySpace. Well, my stage persona really.
Marissa wasn't lying, the site is rather obnoxious.
More playing later...their search functions suck!

Yep.
By the way, and especially if you're using the site to post any of the pictures of your performances, you might want to just list yourself as married. It actually does cut down on the amount of "U R so fine. I want to get wit U" comments that you are bound to get.

Heh.
Its funny cause my first impulse is, what difference would that make?
Oh our friends...so much fun...and then also more fun on top of that ;)

It weeds out the ones who add you simply because it's got pics of you in your underwear ;)
I'm there under my stage name as well: Isobel Loba -or- iloba

yeah, tons of features are crappy or downright broken at this point.
for such a huge money site you'd expect a bit more technical support but no such luck.

the best thing I can tell you to do is to post a link in your LJ so your friends can find you then mine each of their friends lists and add the friends or desired contacts from there.

Yeah...thankfully there's a couple names that pop up right away (Latex Lily is one of them), and I've been able to follow some trails through their friends' lists.
But then the other problem is there's so many people I've met that have myspace accounts and not LJ, but I've ignored them...so I just need to keep poking around more to remember who they are!

heh, well I have a good number of people you may know so feel free to mine away. you can also search by email address but it has to be the address they have linked to the account.

Want me to watermark photos for you? Because if you leave them viewable to the public they'll probably get swiped.

Hmm, yeah, that would rock!
Do you have a website for your photography? I'd rather have them say they belong to you than they contain me. That's what I've normally seen for watermarking, but I also have very little idea what I'm talking about...

I don't have a website, but I can find a couple options for watermarks and show them to you to choose from before we do anything to your photos.
