I mostly watch your art on Tumbrl now, tbh LJ seems to be dying. Or perhaps thats just me, updates have gotten so much slower, people don't comment much or just not at all. (and once again the page code is going bazooka on me)
Yeah, a lot of my friends who were pretty active on LJ left or are mostly only lurking. I'm still commenting and actively write entries every other day :)
Oh god, the coding. I swear, I had to edit the SON I AM DISAPOINT entry at least two or three times because the code would flip a shit, even though I typed everything out correctly. Idk what's up with that.
Yeah I agree with "LJ is dying". I look on here every couple days maybe. Of course the unfortunate thing is that like tumblr (which seems to be the sketchblog replacement, it is what I am using now) IS KIND OF LACKING IN COMMENT OPTIONS. I don't like having to reblog fucking everything to reply because then MY sketch blog ends up like barely anything by me. Stupid likes.
Aasdflkhadflkhöd D: But Riku, I'm doing Nanowrimo! D: So busy... Und ich mag doch deine Sachen so gerne und ... und ... T__T' Why u so good? Details, Details, Details... *__*
(und jetzt muss ich weiterschreiben gehen, weil...)
I usually want to comment on your sketch posts, I always look at them!
I actually thought I commented on this one already, I really like the page layouts of your moleskine, my favorite is the cat and dog.
I have 3 moleskines (2 med & small sketchbooks and 1 shitty notebook) and I really enjoyed the sketchbooks for their page quality and the general book design. But they're expensive for no reason so I bought an imitation one but it turned out to be really shitty with flimsy pages that I could see through the next page to. I hate that. Know any moleskine looking sketchbook that are the same quality, too? I really like the book format more than the ringed sketchbooks I used to use.
I know you do, a lot of people do haha Again, I don't want people to feel forced to comment, but it's really lame if not even a signle person leaves anything, out of 132 - and that are only the people who actively watch this lj, I'm guessing there are a few more who don't and just come by occasionally to check on this!
Ahh thanks, the cat and the dog are one of my favourites, too! I used a couple of picturs from tumblr for reference. If I don't know what to draw, I like to go through my pretty pitures collection and just draw from it randomly :)
I think moleskines are great for ballpoint pen works, but they're terrible when it comes to pencil. The paper's too smooth, I prefer structured, rough paper for that. And man yeah the prices, wtf. I'm really looking forward to start drawing into my new sketchbook with the sturtcured paper, but I won't start doing that unless I'm done filling up my Montana sketchbook, which is not my current.
