Saying goodbye
Panda has come to appointments with us with a certain provider for the last 3 or 4 years. The provider (she gives her patients a "good" piece of chocolate as a reward after each visit, which puts her up there in my book) always gave Panda Cheerios as a treat at the start of the appointment, making this person one of Panda's favorite people to visit ( Read more... )

Yes, she is. She actually murmured, "Save me a place when you get there" while hugging Panda, and she gave me a big hug before I went out the door.

Thanks so much. Hugs back. Also massive. My youngest (now grown) lent me her large stuffed bunny (saved from childhood days) to hug for comfort, and to be honest, I've held Buns close a few times over the past few days, closed my eyes, and cried. It helps a little, just as she said it would. Crying upsets the pup, so of course we put on our bravest faces when we're in her company.
