1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
A lot of things. But tandem skydiving from 12000 feet is probably what most would consider the biggest. Learned how to cook and clean as I never have before during the summer (actually that job at Reena was huge in the new experiences department), turned vegetarian, got the drunkest I've ever been and tried some other things, went to the gym seriously at a couple of points. I guess that's all I'll say.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I made any, but I would like to travel this year. Hopefully to Israel in Feb if I'm not too late (but I think I am). I want to earn some more money though.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Tracy and Rob (TragicLad) welcomed a beautiful boy into their lives :)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, and I miss him.

USA (New York), but not anywhere more exotic. I was bouncing around Ontario though, spent time in Owen Sound, and worked in Collingwood/Wasaga Beach which were two places I had never been.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Stability, purpose, and hope.

October 23rd, the day my grandfather died.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting through the year, is an achievement, I suppose. Though I didn't do as bad in school as I should have been, so I guess that's a good thing. Probably the job at Reena was my biggest achievement. And the fact that I more easily allow myself to get creative now.
9. What was your biggest failure?
The way I dwell on things in ways that aren't constructive.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Eva Cassidy's new CD, American Tune. Really helped when I needed it.

This one definitely goes to Sarah and Winnie who were married in the summer. Also, the strength of friends like Robert and Amit. My high school gang for tolerating my messes and uncertainties and still dragging me out for a picnic. Really love you guys.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My grandmother through September and October, and my parents at points.
14. Where did most of your money go?
I've been asking that one a lot too. It seems to evaporate in an instant, though I never spent it carelessly.

Wow, that's a tough one to answer. Didn't really get excited about much. Maybe Skydiving or the Evanescence Concert.

Didn't listen to the radio much, but probably "Bring Me To Life" (Evanescence).

Love kerfuffles me.
21. How many one-night stands?
None.
22. What was your favorite TV program?
Didn't watch much. Simpsons were good, I guess.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Sometimes I try, but I find hating people really difficult, except hating myself, which I found astonishingly easy.

Probably Lord of the Rings, but I had read those before.
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Well I didn't discover myself, but was led to discover Evanescense and Linkin' Park.
26. What did you want and get?
My G license (in London, first time through)! About fricken time! This was after insane efforts to go on standby, getting my G2 extended while all the government offices were closed because of the blackout, miscommunication between the driving centers...
27. What did you want and not get?

Hmm...what came out this year? Probably Return of the King.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 21, I had just gotten back from Collingwood and trying to deal with the parents in different houses. Remember walking around in a Zombielike state, and cried a lot. Then my friend Veej came over and literally dragged me out to Dave & Busters for a surprise party with the highschool gang and my coworkers.(Did I mention how much I love them yet).
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting back on my feet financially and mentally.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Fashion? What's that? :P
32. What kept you sane?
A couple of people who will never read this anyway, so throwing their names out there wouldn't do much. Friends back in Toronto. Eva Cassidy, Evanescence, Linkin' Park. Writing, drawing, playing guitar, listening to music, fire.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Orlando Bloom, easily.
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Wow, I guess I'll go with the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict here.
35. Who did you miss?
My grandfather, and friends, when I wasn't in the same place as them.
36. Who was the best new person you met?
That's difficult to say. I have met a lot of new people, who are the best for all different reasons. And I've gotten to know a lot of people I already knew better, which is great.

Fight, and ask people to help you.

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just to much that time cannot erase
