Julie Taylor! My appreciation of Julie wavers on the show (it's like she going back and forth between adulthood and whiny teenager-dom) but in this she is just the awesome, no-shit-taking Julie. She makes a great teacher! She really gets Tim and how to get him going - very Tami of her. I loved how she had him going with what happens in the book. Coach backing Julie on her "mom or guidance counselor" question is cute too! Once again, I love your grasp of these characters.

I just adore Julie, even when I want to kind of shake her when she's being a snotty teenager. I always feel for her.

Thank you - that's one thing I'm enjoying about writing a series as opposed to just one-shot fics, is that I'm getting to bring the other characters in a little more. It might seem like I'm only into Tim/Julie but I love all the characters dearly. It's fun to play with them a little, too. :)

I always wanted to know what Julie's punishment was for the getting-drunk-and-letting-Tim-take-the-fall incident! Great characterization, and I love how Julie asked him about reading the book (it reminded me of when Tami asked him about The Scarlet Letter).

Me too. I was disappointed that they didn't go anywhere with the Tim/Julie friendship that was sparked in those two episodes, so I wanted to head down that road a ways.

Glad you enjoyed it!

No matter how many times I read this the last line always makes me laugh out loud. I can just imagine the look on Eric's face as he says it. Hilarious!

I love this fic so much. All the character voices are pitch perfect.

Aw, thank you so much! Very kind of you. I'm actually working on a sequel to this fic that covers sort of the next phase of this relationship, so to speak, and I'm hoping to work on it more seriously once I've wrapped up another long series I'm working on. I just need to figure out exactly where I intend to go with it. Hopefully I'll start getting that out in the next couple of months, but it depends on how busy I get at work. If only someone would pay me to sit here and make Tim and Julie angst at each other, I'd be all set. :)

Thanks again. The comments keep me going, seriously!
