“What are you talking about? Of course there is,” Billy scoffed. “She’s out with him at Fran’s right now - go over there and punch him in the face.” <3 BILLY. Metaphysically! Asking Julie about her date and "Uh, I dunno"! Haha, I can't belive how much I love Billy in this story, I'm not that much of a fan in the show.

I liked the idea of someone completely new asking Julie out, didn't see that coming! A little jealousy is always a good catalyst (plus it's nice to read about).

Aw, Tyra lighting up like a Christmas tree when spotting Landry. This story makes me go "aww" a lot actually.

I admit, I'm very fond of Billy Riggins. His heart is almost always in the right place, but he's just such an ill-equipped, immature, short-tempered doofus that he can't help but make a spectacular mess of things. He always tries to make it better somehow, though, you know? I'm fond.

i'm totally new to FNL - just discovered it a few weeks ago after falling in love with zach while watching the preview for Post Grad (which i still haven't seen; need to work on that!) - and i devoured it all so quickly that i had to turn to fic to sate my addiction. :D needless to say, though matt is still one of my favorite characters, i now also have a deep love for tim riggins. and this story just makes that love all the more ridiculous. ♥♥

you write these characters so brilliantly and lovingly, it really is like a continuation of the show. several times i could actually hear the dialog in my head as if they'd really said it before, and everyone's characterization is just so pitch-perfect. i'm devastated now that i have to wait along with everyone else for the next chapter! :P thanks for this amazingness! <333

I'm pretty new to it, myself - I only started watching in May. It's probably obvious that I ship Tim/Julie, but god, what kind of heartless person doesn't love the crap out of Matt Saracen? Honestly. I just adore them all.

seriously, considering that i started watching the show specifically because of the actor who plays him, matt couldn't have been a more perfect character if they'd written him for me. that said, i have issues with julie that prevent me from liking her with matt, so we're good there. :) i actually came here looking for tim/lyla stuff, but after reading your fic i've decided it's not so much that i ship tim/lyla as tim/happiness -- so if you can make me believe he'll find it with julie (which so far, you definitely have!), then i'm all for it. :D

Thanks so much! I've written a little bit for Firefly and a couple of others, which you can find if you backread my journal a bit and you're interested, but FNL has provided me with a ton of inspiration. I've done more writing in the past few months than in the year before that put together, I think!

I'm all about shipping Tim/happiness. I'm not the world's biggest Lyla fan, although I must admit that on rewatching the series with friends, I've grown to like her more and more with every viewing. I don't think he and Lyla are meant to be, but it really is a delight to see him so happy and in love. I just straight up love Tim! What can I say?
