Mmmh, the plot thickens. Awesome. I love the point where stories get, you know, angsty/expectant. Great update, keep'em coming!

btw, can't believe Julie's never seen Terminator before, there must've been a lot of dirty books in her bookshelves I guess!!:P

I live for angsty/expectant! :) Glad you liked the chapter. More to come soon, I promise!

Yeah, I guess she was too busy reading books under the covers by flashlight to bother with action movies. ;)

Thanks for commenting!

Julie wasn’t sure who kissed who, just that Tim took a step forward and then they were kissing each other, touching only where their mouths connected. It was tentative and awkward, and Julie didn’t relax until she felt Tim’s hand brush against the back of her head, gently pulling her closer. She slid her hands up to his chest, resting one against the faded blue 33 over his heart.

Tim sighed raggedly, his breath brushing her face. Julie shivered as he pulled her into his body, spreading his hands across her back and slanting his mouth against hers.

The feeling of another body against hers after months of missing Matt hit her heart with a sharp pang. She was violently jolted out of the moment and back into reality.

I just love how when I read this part, I could see this playing out in my head like a movie. The quiet rustling as her hands slid up his chest. Tim's ragged sigh against her face before his hands spread across her back. The violent way she backs out of the kiss. Very nice imagery!

I love this story! Cant wait for more!

My S3 DVDs haven't arrived from the US yet, so I was loathe to read this - I didn't want to be spoiled. But, two hours later, here I am.

This is really brilliant. I love the claustrophobic feeling you've developed in Dillon: between the heat, Tim and Julie's lack of society, the sameness of every day. I couldn't wait to get out of my small town and it's ringing very true.

Looking forward to the next part. :)

It's a weird pairing in some ways. In all honesty, I can't see it happening on the show, but there's enough potential there that it's an ideal pairing to explore in fic. I mean, they were adorable in "There Goes The Neighbourhood" - how can you not be at least kind of intrigued by Tim/Julie?

Thank you so much for all the thoughtful comments. They're so appreciated. It's lame, but comments really do keep me writing! :)
