*snif* Loved it.

Glad to see Julie's night over and date didn't pass Tami by. I can't decide wether she let it go 'cause she knew what had really gone on, or she just couldn't believe Julie would actually spend the night with a guy, Tim no less.

Glad to hear it! :)

Tami has an inkling of what might be going on, but she's trying pretty hard to let Julie live her life and tell her about it on her own. Also, I think she finds it hard to believe Julie would ever get involved with Tim!

I'm loving this series. I particularly love the realistic build of feelings between Tim and Julie.

Thank you. Writing it, I feel like the pace has been glacial, but I think it's been worth it, rather than rushing things. I hope?

Yay! New part!

I'm really loving this. Always makes my day that lil bit better. :)

Particularly liked the Tami-Julie interaction in this part, plus Tim and Julie seeming to lose track of time on the way back from Midland.

Aww, I'm very glad to hear that! I'm not gonna lie - I try to post new chapters so that if I get some comments, I'll get them in the morning when I'm at work and need the pick-me-up. So thank you!

Yes, it seems Tim and Jules are starting to find one another very distracting indeed... :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!

I adore the buildup that you've created, and how its not just: "BAM, hook up, and BAM, love". lol. I've read too many stories & fics like that, but this is so much more real with things happening at a slow & realistic pace.
Plus, it means there's more for me to read!

Kinda wish Tim would show up in Austin... :P :P

:) More soon, I hope!

Thank you! One of my favourite things about Tim/Julie is that in their brief scenes on the show, we see that they would have made truly delightful friends above all else, so I kind of like to start from that, you know? Tim is certainly more than capable of casual sex, but by this point I think he's already really grown out of that, anyway, you know?

More very very very soon, and then we're done!

Thank you! One of the things I like about Tim/Julie, or I guess that I see potentially in the pairing outside of their limited interaction in the show, is that Julie is sensitive and empathetic to other people's feelings, even if she's sometimes so overly sensitive about her own that she becomes self-centred. Tim's a deep feeler and sensitive as well, but he's not great at communicating. I think Julie's ability to articulate emotional truths (which is why I think she seems to want to be a writer) would be great for Tim, because she's someone who can understand what he's feeling and put it into words, even if it's not something she's gone through herself. We saw her do it several times with Matt, even through their relationship struggles. Matt talks more than Tim does, but he isn't necessarily honest about his feelings because he tries so hard to be good.

Of course, that's just how I see them. :P
