I think we're those type of people who always miss what we had. I miss Iowa too. I want to be a student again. During school, though, I always looked forward to not having homework.

During college, I missed high school. I wanted to have the structure of a school, yet have the safety of my parent's house.

I miss being a kid too. But, I remember being a kid and thinking, "I can't wait 'til I'm grown up." When I'd tell my mom that she'd say, "Once you're an adult, you'll miss being a kid." I never believed her. Kids really do think they know everything.

Happy Birthday! Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you. I know what you mean about wishing that you were a kid again. I miss high school, I miss feeling happy during Christmas, and my Birthday. I even miss Easter Egg hunting, but I know that if I went egg hunting now, I'll think that it's lame. Hopefully when/if we have children, things will get exciting for us again.
