Sam and I have moved, and boy was it an exhausting experience! I don't remember moving into our old apartment being so tiresome. I think we accumulated a lot of junk over the past 9 months. And there were wedding presents. So... I guess that makes sense. My parents are planning on having a yard sale again sometime soon (since they'll be moving too ( Read more... )

Congratulations on your move - nice to see that married life is going well!

My soon to be father-in-law (!) is a retired gardener and has informed me when planting my own herb garden that mint grows EVERYWHERE so to avoid mas expansion you should keep it planted in a pot, otherwise it will be mint city!

Nothing quite like picking and cooking your own herbs though!

Sounds like life is good with you - so wonderful see/hear.

Thanks! I had thought things would calm down after the wedding, but apparently not. Still, everything's going quite well. :)

I love mint, so mint city sounds kinda nice! But I can see how it's not such a good thing when you're trying to plant begonias or chives or something. Since our patio is mostly concrete, we'll be having a container garden. I think I'll try to find a big container for the mint so it'll have room to spread out a little. Thanks for the advice!
