Recently, gharbad asked me to draw her pictures of each of three types of geek gamer to use as visual aids for an entertaining speech for speechcom. I agreed, being flattered that she would ask me (ha ha, don't tell me if I wasn't your first choice ;-), amused by the concept, and happy to have both a reason and a subject to draw. The Roleplayer sounds so much like knightchris!! LOL!!!

But the Miniatures player...hey...if he's any good with miniatures, he can paint them without getting crap all over his shirt, right? Or has he just finished building an entire setting.

Hmm...If I was designated geek, I wonder which I'd be. Definitely not Magic. But between being a wannabe-DM and enjoying the paiting and use of miniatures...dang. I'm a dork!

It's true! If it makes you feel better, though, I'm a roleplayer and have at times played Magic. I even GMed once.

And I think that he might be just fine with miniatures, but is SO FOCUSED on them that he doesn't care where else the paint might go, as long as it goes on the right places on the mini.
