Why Star Trek is different from other fandoms

I've been feeling a little mad at Trek lately, what with the delay in starting the new movie and the general lack of urgency about giving anything to the franchise. Lucky for me, two of my favorite people on the planet decided to get together and do this:

How long is the interview? I haven't listened yet, but I also think that think this calls for a transcription like, right now.

It's 45 minutes with everything, but that includes the intro and non-Trek talk. It does include the long-form version of the Dr. King story, which is fantastic, and which I'd love to see a transcription of, oh yes please!

And she still has the voice of an angel, too ♥

It makes me sad, though, to think that the people she inspired are entering the later stages of their careers.
