Heh. I didn't understand it myself until emluv explained it to me. Avengers are a a team (a bunch of guys and one lady) consisting of well-developed characters that gets into sci-fi adventures with often-implausible science. The Tony-Bruce dynamic is an overachieving playboy and his friend, the brilliant but sometimes self-doubting doctor with a troubled past and a short temper. Sound familiar?

This was spectacular, and ache-y, and science-y, and all the good things.

I loved that paragraph about Tony's Death-with-a-capital-D, and the way he figures out what they're doing to Banner, and NATASHA, every second of her, and their beautiful, beautiful friendship.

Natasha is just so gorgeous (in many ways), and I'm seriously thinking about perpetrating some Bruce/Natasha because I think they'd complement each other very well. But yes, Tony and Bruce and poor Bruce's endless angsting! So glad you enjoyed it.
