I love how you make Sherlock show two sides so easily - on the one hand he cares so much (Worried and offering to buy Cheerios, and later the talk with John about a friendly face in the second part.) but doesn't realize that a corpse may gross him out. *g*

I'm just generally so very happy to see Fortysomething fic. I wrote a tiny one and have been trying to find plotbunnies ever since. It's just so difficult. But integrating it into Sherlock offers up a whole world of possibilities! (Which I hope you'll all explore. ;)

I just found this and it's amazing! I love the crossover, but I also like the look at a more developed Sherlock :)

And yeah, he's a sociopath - he remembers Cheerios but not that everyone might be grossed out at a crime scene.
