Alba is laid to rest
Alba has returned to nature, finally. I had a small party in her honour, with photos and videos playing on my computer, Spanish music and tortilla, and lots of chocolate and Rioja. Then we all climbed out of the window into the garden, just like Alba used to, and I scattered her little ashes all over the grass and the plants. The grass is nice and ( Read more... ) -

Today, I have invited a few of Alba's closest friends and ardent admirers, for some food and wine and to join me scattering her ashes in the garden. Sweet Alba, loved by so many people in so many countries. We will say goodbye today.

I am back from a lovely treat of two weeks holiday in France and Spain. One week relaxing with sister Ann and niece Emma, then a week with friends in Cataluña, taking in Girona, Barcelona, Taragona, and a couple of trips to the beach! Oh and lots of lovely food, of course ( Read more... ) -
wetsounds
Well, I am just back from the most extraordinary swim at Porty pool. There was a special event called WetSounds, music played under the water, so you had to have your ears under the water to hear it. It was a mixture of sounds, noises, music, talking, but some of it was relaxing and it felt at times like deep sea diving (not that I have done that ( Read more... )
