Makeup recs?

I haven't worn makeup for a while because, really, what have I been doing lately that requires me to look good? But in a fit of boredom I slapped my usual Bare Minerals on yesterday before I met Stephie and her mom for dinner at Panera. Except after I got back home and washed my face, I realized that under the makeup my skin had turned all red

Wow that is too bad. I also use Bare Minerals so I'm not much help. I will say I never could use their mineral veil much though. It seemed to make me itchy. I also can't use anything silicone based like those makeup primers with it in there. That stuff gives me cystic acne everytime which sucks because it makes the makeup look so good.

I deal with cystic acne even when I don't put anything on my face. Sucks. Pretty sure it's a hormonal thing with me, though, so I'm pretty much doomed.

I, too, have heard many rave reviews of Meow Cosmetics, if you like the powder foundation thing. And you can order samples so you know you have the right shade and don't react to it before you invest in a humongous jar.

Lately I've been wearing Stila's Beauty Balm just about every day. Light coverage, and a good color for me. I recommend getting a quick consult at your local Sephora store to get a tinted moisturizer that you like and works for you. :)
