Smiling I think is always good for you. How are rotations going in THE City?

Rotations are going well. Just started my medicine rotation. So far so good. Although I've already lost a patient and it's only day three. How are things going for you in Chicago? All I ever see you post about are exams. I know there's gotta a bit more than that, right? :)

There is not much more. School is interesting of course, but all I do is go to school, study, take tests, then come home and take care of kids before putting them to bed and study again. I have been into the city twice in four months. Kinda sad, but fulfilling as well, you know? Plus my school has tests every week and all kinds of required class time.

My first block we had tests every week. And that was miserable. 2nd and third blocks it was 2-3 weeks. Much better. And in 2nd year it was every 6 weeks. And while I liked all the time between tests it seriously prompted some massive slacking. First year my life sucked all the time... and 2nd year it was a roller coaster of ups and downs (and the downs were worse). I'm glad to be on third year. My hours are way longer, but what I'm doing is much better. Although I'm on call right now which sucks... and I have nothing to do. My resident doesn't seem to trust me with a fourth patient :) Hope all keeps going well with your schooling!!
