Samantha wakes, thankful to hear calm breathing beside her and swivels her head to catch a glimpse of the sleeping beauty. She can’t contain her smile, and is filled with happiness, content to know that the good times are not over.
Carefully maneuvering herself out of bed and yanking a long t-shirt over her head, tugging it down just below her bottom. She rubs the sleep out of her eyes and turns to assure that Lindsay is still sleeping before she heads to the kitchen.
She busies herself making coffee and searching for breakfast food when she hears lazy feet shuffling behind her. Taking a quick glance over her shoulder, Samantha catches Lindsay hugging a robe against her otherwise uncovered body, her slippered feet never leaving the ground.
As she sidles up behind Samantha, she rests her head upon the dark-haired DJ’s shoulder and grumbles ‘good morning’, her eyes still closed. Samantha turns her head and kisses Lindsay gently on the temple.
“Yeah, it is a good morning,” she says, smiling to herself, knowing there are many more to come.
