I honestly think that redemption can only be obtained by making those you love happy. I don't think that us mortals can honestly believe that our scope extends any further than those around us. If we do than the sin of pride creeps in. If honestly every single person tried to care more about others than him or herself, than the world would be a far better place. The golden rule is golden for a reason.
