I never really believed that saying, but I do believe that his companionship and love has put you in places that you have never been. He loved you unconditionally, just as you will always love him...he was so lucky to have someone that cared about him so much lindsey..you are doing whats right though and i know that's hard to face sometimes and i'm very sorry about that. As cheesy as it might sound, the love you have for him doesn't have to end just because he is not living with us..Just as we might say about jimmy or someone that you've lost that you care about deeply...there is always going to be a part of picasso with you :)
