Now see, I'm not sure how important an internship is at this point, but I never made it that far. I always thought that after you graduate vet school and have licensing, you can just go play with animals and make the big bucks right away.

Aww, that's tough. I can't help but think the economy may have a bit to do with it though. More applicants than places willing to spend extra attention on interns, when that attention could save someone from being laid off?
