There has been a lot of talk about Clinton vs. Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2008. With all of the hype its easy to forget that there are other people running, Bill Richardson is one of them and is getting me fired up, reminding me of my days letter writing for Howard Dean. The primary is going to be insane. What would you say if Gore entered the race, as proposed by the last issue of Rolling Stone?

Well I would love to see the new and improved Al Gore running in the primary. During the election he seemed too careful and wimpy and now he seems way cooler. I would also love to see a sass-off between him and Richardson. But I don't know who I like more, probably Gore. (rhyme totally intended)What about you?

Point number two is enough to make me like the man. I'll have to read up on him.

Maybe this is naive question or I'm not informed enough, but... well, I only hear people saying "stay the course" or "pull/withdraw the troops" when it comes to Iraq. Does anyone talk about what they want to do afterward? Does anyone want to help the Iraqis stabilize and rebuild or is at, at this point, damage-control only?

Whew. There's no time like a few months after the midterms to get fired up about the presidential, eh? :o) Did we all become political addicts all of a sudden?

Bill Richardson. Not there's a candidate who won't win. I have some favorite losing candidates too though. I feel ya.
