Sunday we mostly spent on the road. For being so close to California, it takes a darn long time to get around and to Mexico.

Mexico
After weeks of talk and being an armchair traveler with my Rough Guide to Mexico, we finally hit the road. The trolley in San Diego actually drops you off right at the border and after grabbing my obligatory coffee we started hiking the ramp up and over. California or Bust!
I'm long overdue on a real update, but the short of it is that I'm now in LA. It's strange to say, but I'm a Californian. Well, at least for the time being. So far, I love it. 1) Learn to Run
I've seen the high other people get by running and how good it makes them feel. I'm envious. I got a book from the library for women and running. My parents gave me a whole new running outfit and sneaks so I don't have to run in $6 'Roos sneakers. It feels good so far, but I'm still having difficulty finding ( Read more... ) -

Whew, I am exhausted, but exceedingly happy. As wonderful and memorable as Europe was, it will probably never compare to a day's work well done for me.
I'm crazy, I know.
