I always find anthropomorphic food that is totally ok with being eaten really creepy. All cereal competing over who is less soggy when YOU ARE GOING TO BE EATEN. Ice cubes excited to have cola poured on them, WHICH WILL MELT THEM. Creepy.

You know, I have heard other people espouse this opinion, and even seen it in fiction at Milliways and that bit in Stranger in a Strange Land where he groks grass...however, it is somewhat opposite to my way of thinking.

Gleeful horrible suicide as a measure of your devotion to your destiny is a bit to horror/hippie for me.
