Have fun in Seattle! Say hi to the Northwest for me. :) How exciting for your friend, all sorts of happy things going on at once. I cannot comprehend how military wives do it. I don't know if I'd be able to deal with my DH being away in Iraq while I was pregnant. Yikes!

He was gone almost the whole year. She actually got pregnant on one try when he was home in December for a week!

Welcome to Seattle after 15 years, L. It's been sorta overcast lately. The hot streak has moved on, but sun usually shows up in the afternoon. You'll want light layers, especially on Bainbridge, which is near the water and cools considerably.

I'm so happy that your friend Jill gets her hubby back this weekend and before the baby arrives. Wow. My BIL couldn't get home from Iraq for his son's birth and I cannot imagine that.

Have fun! I'll wave at you when you fly over (we're not in the direct flight path in Auburn, but I can see and hear some planes on occasion).
