also.. you could make a canned item like jam or something like that.

Or a thing what needs to refridgeration and can be kept on a shelf for a week.

candies are a good thing for that. Like chocolates. I dunno if you have done those yet, but you have a year so you might at some point.

I have a recipe for tiny-pie-in-a-jar which *might* actually survive transit if packed carefully enough. I'd probably have to do a hot-water-bath canning, since they're designed to be frozen, but it *could* work? Maybe? That's about it, alas. There's a class in fancy chocolates that I'm totally not taking because it's not my gig.

I can't really think of anything awesome, so a blank well-cropped would work temporarily. Or if you can think of something in 1-3 words that would work well? I dunno. All available braincells have been rerouted towards homework, today.
