And I finally have internets, even. I *think* everyone should know this by now, but I've been surprised enough times about people not knowing. I'm bad at communication, mostly. I'm doing my fall quarter as a Study Abroad in Orvieto, Italy. I left LA on Monday, and arrived in Italy about 17 hours later on Tusday afternoon. The flight was

Make sure you keep a daily journal of your time there; you'll really appreciate it years down the road.

I agree that a journal is a really really good idea, even if it is not an online journal you share and is just one for *you*.

I am so very happy your flight over was entirely uneventful and mellow.

I am looking forward to seeing pictures. Be sure you get snaps of the town you are in, the people around you, your room, the view from your room, or anything else that you see on a regular basis along with the pics of the food you make. I know I am not alone in wanting to see them (even if I have to wait until you come home for them to be uploaded somewhere for that).
