I told the person who answered the phone I must have the wrong number--when I called the shelter, I gave them the owner's number, and they put me on hold while they called her, and then they made the decision that she should be brought in and examined, not immediately returned. I was just glad they were handling it.

Say, thanks! It does all seem to be going pretty smoothly, doesn't it?

I'm soon to embark on my own child-related endeavors: Latin kids ahoy! I'll be dressing up as a Roman girl and trying to turn kids on to the Classics once a week come December. What a beautiful painting--you never cease to amaze me. Speaking of such, this Ghost Town Arts Collective--how to enter/volunteer/be members? Information would be of much use. You're better for not updating as often as some of us--one writes more substantial entries. Anyway, hooray for younglings and artsiness.

Gifted/talented 3rd and 4th graders! So impressionable! I'm making materials for them right now.

Sounds good to me. Gimme that free time and candy. Ooh, a RF (I really want to say "an" for some reason). Well, I'd love to come-- this sounds perfect--since Tuesday is her birthday, how about we go with you guys and I can get her some Ren-loot? Most excellent. We'll call you tomorrow to confirm; is this acceptable?

Sounds good! We'll leave at 5 am...probably it'll be easiest for us to pick you up so you won't have to worry about parking on Pecan.

You'll save six bucks if you buy your tickets online instead of at the gate. http://www.texrenfest.com/tickets06.htm

We'll have a cooler for drinks and perishables (They don't allow outside food/drinks inside, but's a pretty long drive!). We'll arive there around 10-ish, and probably stay until 5 or so (unless we all get tired first)...we should be back by midnight.

Go ahead and call to confirm, and if nothing comes up, we'll see you tomorrow at five!
