Really good last couple of days. Took off from work at the violin shop Wednesday to take a day hike with Fred, and that was great, beautiful, perfect; pictures forthcoming. Ecce: I have a new second job, touching up/restoring original Edward Curtis photogravures! FUCKING AWESOME. And my boss is fabulous. We work in her funny little house with her blue bathroom and siamese kitten and big goofy terrier mix puppy. Alright, here's the piece I've been bitching about. There are seven panels to this work, which will be hung all together, altarpiece-style. An hour and a half of work a day doesn't add up to much, but hopefully I'll finish this panel, the middle one, before the end of the month.

I was up until 1am watching a filmed version of 1776. I like how that whole musical was clearly just someone who one day was like, "you know who was a badass? JOHN ADAMS" and decided more people need to know.
